Roughly based on similar projects in London, Berlin and in particular the DUMBO Collective; a market set up by artists under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York - The Rose St. Artists' Market utilises a former junkyard in the back streets of Fitzroy to display the work of up to 70 artists and designers each week, some emerging and some more established.

Since its inception, The Market has gained the reputation of being one of Melbourne's hidden treasures, wowing people with the high quality of work on offer.

In a city brimming with creativity, there's no telling what products you might find. From quirky furniture design and stunning fashion through to intricate jewellery and unique paintings. In fact, over 450 individuals are listed on our growing catalogue of artists and designers here each week selling everything from the weird to the wonderful!

The Rose St. Artists' Market has taken a fresh approach to the traditional market concept giving you the opportunity peruse the numerous displays, collect, source and commission unique works; and of course meet, greet and speak with artists and designers in person.

The Rose St. Artists' Market also has live entertainment throughout the day as well as a gourmet cafe and is open every Saturday between the hours of 11am and 5pm.
