National Music School

National Music School offers teaching in all levels (i.e. beginner to advanced), including a wide range of certificate and diploma courses. All our teachers are certified and endorsed by the "Victorian Music Teachers' Association" "The Australian Music Teachers' Registry" as well as the "National Institute of Music Teachers". These strict memberships are open to teachers who are highly accredited in the teaching of the arts as well as having the necessary requirements in child/adult education, psychology and teacher training.

All our teachers have a minimum of 7 years teaching experience as well as being highly competent performers of their own particular musical instrument including voice. Scientific studies have shown that music studies greatly improve children's math and reading skills but more importantly their self-esteem. Similar studies regarding adults have also shown to improve communication and verbal skills as well as an increase in confidence levels. Singing also further stimulates the human body's release of endorphins which is a protein substance found in the brain that promotes general overall well being. We were also the proud winners of the "2000 & 2006 Australian Achiever Awards" for our standards of teaching and customer service.
