Kanela Melbourne’s only flamenco restaurant-tapas bar that is dedicated to the art of flamenco is run by the family of two of the countries leading flamenco artists, Richard Tedesco and brother Johnny Tedesco. It has become an institution among local flamenco aficionados , International touring companies (Fura del Baus, Bolero Flamenco), and Australian celebrities (Kate Cerbrano, The Cat “Sol y Sombra” Empire) for its quality of performances. With the combination of great Spanish tapas/raciones and that always humorous hospitality, Kanela is undoubtedly one of the city’s most important and dynamic venues .

Kanela weeknights are the ideal time to tantalise your curiosity of all things Spanish.
